		Abel Point Marina Charterer's Centre Type Marina, CCY Base Description Abel Point Marina is the boat port for Airlie Beach, the home of Cumberland Charter Yachts. Many tours depart Abel Point including outer reef, fast boats and day tours. Full facilities are available including showers, laundry, fuel, ice, groceries and bottle shop. The Marina is about 10 minutes walk from the Airlie Beach main street. Restrictions If you plan to stopover at Abel Point marina during your charter you should contact CCY the day before or earlier.  A charge is applicable for staying in the marina.  CCY moorings off the marina are available free of charge. Shelter in All weather (in marina). Moorings Take the alternative option and moor on a CCY mooring outside the marina.  Unfortunately they are not suitable in easterly/northerly and westerly conditions. Fishing Fishing in the marina is not permitted. Be careful of Partying in town until its really late! Resort Take the 10 minute walk into Airlie Beach to experience this bustling resort town with its many bars and restaurants. It has something for everyone! Walking Bush walks are available in the Airlie hinterland. Sunset Sit on your vessel in the marina and enjoy the sights and sounds of this busy tourist port. The constant boating activity is always interesting as you watch the sun set over the mainland hills. Outer Reef Take an outer reef ferry from Abel Point or Shute Harbour, a dive trip from Abel Point or fly to the reef from the Airlie Beach airport. Beach Take the 10 minute walk to Airlie Beach with its grassy parkland via the Lagoon. All Weather Anchorage Abel Point marina is an excellent all weather port. Sailing Sailing to a huge selection of islands or mainland bays in most winds.
