Description Billbob Bay is a pretty anchorage on the southern side of Shaw Island. The distance south makes it a little less frequented offering more peace and quiet than most anchorages. It offers good protection in lighter Northerlies. In stronger conditions the anchorage area is a little more exposed as it is some distance from shore. Seek approval before overnighting here check weather conditions with base.
Restrictions No fishing. Billbob Bay is only available to vessels in 4C extended survey. Check with base before proceeding.
Shelter in North West to East.
Fishing Fishing is prohibited.
Be careful of Fringing coral and expected weather changes.
Solitude Billbob is infrequently visited by charter boats.
