Exuding space and grace, the Lightwave 38 Powercat is one of our most popular power catamarans to charter in the Whitsundays. From $790 - $1140 AUD per night
Compellingly attractive in her handling, 'Charisma' is a breeze to navigate around the Whitsundays. Featuring 2 queen size cabins, 1 double cabin, a small single berth located in the port side queen cabin plus the saloon can be utilised as another single berth, giving ample space for all on board. The starboard queen cabin has its own ensuite while portside is a generous full-size bathroom. The saloon and galley are both located in the middle of the boat up from the cabins and the use of space is both efficient and attractive. The cockpit and flybridge areas provide a great space to entertain and relax whilst cruising in style around the magnificent Whitsunday islands. The BBQ located in the cockpit is perfect for cooking up a feast after a day exploring. Very popular in summer as she is air-conditioned and her shallow draft makes her the perfect choice for Power boat hire in the tropical waters of the Whitsundays.
Go bareboating and discover a holiday the kids will talk about for many years to come.
We have just returned from a most memorable holiday onboard the beautiful vessel “Cumberland Fling”. The Whitsundays has been a holiday destination on our list for many years, the only thing not planned was how we were going to explore this beautiful part of the world. The bareboat option was given to us by friends that had just returned from their adventure, Cumberland Charters came highly recommended. The adventure started as soon as we booked, planning began, what islands should we visit? What do we take? The book 100 Magic Miles became our best friend; many hours were spent studying the information that was soon to become our bible. We started our cruise from Hamilton Island marina; spending our first night in the beautiful Cid Harbour .Our adventures gave us the opportunity to explore many of the stunning bays and coast line of Whitsunday Island, Hook Island, Border Island, Dumbell and Haselwood Island. Every day we plunged into the beautiful waters with mask, snorkel and fins, the marine life was amazing. The corals in Butterfly Bay in particular were breath taking. We were lucky enough to see a lot of migrating whales along the way, some a little more interested in us than we were with them! We found the Ngaro Cultural site at Nara Inlet really interesting, as well as giving us the opportunity to stretch our legs. Our final evening was spent anchored on the pristine Whitehaven Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. After spending five wonderful nights on the waters of The Whitsundays, we can sincerely say it was THE most restful, fun holiday that we have ever had the opportunity to take. From our initial enquiry via email, to our final debriefing, Cumberland Charters have provided a service second to none. The provisions that were supplied were of the highest quality. We look forward to planning our next adventure with the wonderful staff at Cumberland Charters. Many thanks Rhett & Sue Simons Rockingham, Western AustraliaSue - ROCKINGHAM BEACH, WA, AUSTRALIA
