Father's Day at 'The Pub' 1 September, 2019

Father's Day is fast approaching and they've got you sorted with the ultimate meat lovers buffet! Treat Dad to an "All you can eat" Carnivores Lunch Buffet on Sunday September 1 from 12pm to 2pm at The Pub! Buffet also includes veggies, salad, lollies and ice-cream! Queensland Endurance State Championships 2019 6 - 9 Sept, 2019

The WRERA ride base at Eurl Creek, Bowen, allows for beautiful bush riding and is also the gateway to the Whitsunday's and the Great Barrier Reef. There is a camp kitchen, amenities and ample water points throughout the campsite. There will be allocated camping and horse yards with large trucks and goosenecks catered for upon request. Extended stays are available to allow you to explore the Whitsundays region, the ride base can accommodate large groups.

Run The Great Whitsunday Trail 15 Sept, 2019

Run The Great Whitsunday Trail takes you on a 28.7 kilometre adventure through the beautiful rainforest of the Conway National Park, starting at Brandy Creek and finishing at the Airlie Beach Lagoon. It is a demanding course with many steep uphill and downhill sections with uneven ground. Also included for the second time is the 57.4 kilometre Ultra which will really test the runners ability. Runners must have competed previous like events and also trained well for this event. Brand new event added in 2018 - "The Honeyeater Challenge" - 10.5 kilometres.

Revolutionising Turtle Health on the Reef 29 Sept - 5 Oct, 2019

Human activities are putting sea turtles in danger. Work with Earthwatch Scientists to assess sea turtle health and collect crucial data to support better management strategies to conserve these wondrous creatures. Australia is home to six of the world’s seven marine turtle species including green, hawksbill, leatherback, loggerhead, olive ridley, and the flatback turtle. During the week, you will not only learn everything about green sea turtle biology, conservation, and health issues, but you will experience first-hand what you can do to protect this endangered species.

Airlie Beach Festival of Music 8-10 November, 2018

Now in its 6th year and becoming one of the countries favourite music festivals, the Airlie Beach Music Festival is set to be the biggest yet. Over 3 days, 74 bands will play at various venues around Airlie Beach. From Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) to Leo Sayer, The Baby Animals and Sneaky Sound System there is sure to be some tunes to stomp your feet to no matter what your taste in music is. Twilight Sailing - Every Wednesday

The Whitsunday Sailing Club holds twilight races on Wednesday afternoons throughout the year from 4:30pm onwards. It doesn't matter if you don't have a boat, make yourself known to any of the yachties at the club as they are always looking for 'crew' and is a great way to learn the basics or brush up on your skills before your bareboat charter with us.

Airlie Beach Markets - Every Saturday

Every Saturday morning between 6 am-1 pm, you'll find a colourful mix of arts, locally handmade clothes and jewellery, fresh produce and home-style food stalls at the Airlie Beach Markets. Situated between the Esplanade and Whitsunday Sailing Club along the foreshore, it is a great place to kick off your weekend with a nice takeaway coffee in your hand as you stroll through the market stalls listening to the local musicians play in the amphitheatre.
