Weather Predictions for your Charter 6:34pm, Mon 20 Nov 2017
As you start to gear up for your bareboat charter, excitement takes over and you begin to wonder what the weather is going to be like while you're here. In a perfect world, you'd have blue skies and 10-15 knots from the south-east so you can pop the sails on the boat.
Unfortunately, perfect weather isn't always the case, so to help, the Cumberland Charter Yachts website
has extensive information on weather patterns that have occurred in the past. Recorded data gives you the average maximum and minimum temperatures and wind strengths so you can get an idea of what to expect during your charter, or better yet, plan a charter when there is optimal weather. You will also find information from the Bureau of Meteorology
with synoptic charts, and weather forecasts just to name a few. You can also download their app
In addition, there are number of live webcams placed at various locations around Airlie Beach one of which is from the Cumberland Charter Yachts office at Abell Point Marina.
Keep gearing up and excited about your bareboat charter with us and check in on the webcam for live updates on the weather in the Whitsundays.
