Cumberland owners auction AGAIN! for cyclone affected. 7:26am, Wed 16 Feb 2011

Fresh from providing $6000 cash to the Premier's disaster relief appeal in support of the flood affected areas in  South East Queensland, Cumberland have set out to break five figures in a mighty effort for a very small business. Starting Wednesday the 16th of February, the 10 day auction aims to raise at least $4000 in pursuit of a total of $10,000 contributed.

The cruise is made possible by the owners of the Mahe 36 “Skedaddle” in the CCY fleet. We are ever grateful of the generosity of Mike and Helene Honeybell from Western Australia who have made their vessel available for this charity auction. The holiday includes 5 night cruising holiday in the Whitsundays is once again up for grabs via ebay.com.au. Skedaddle offers a great island experience for 1 or two couple or other group configuration, it's two “private” hulls offer a full sized double in each hull, with the an ensuite to match.

Valued at $4500.00, the winners of the auction will have the opportunity to take their holiday  between now and the 15 June 2011, with the charter departing from Airlie Beach.  If you are interested, you should inform yourself of the fuel, marine park fee, insurance bond waiver and the other costs related to enjoying a bareboat holiday in the Whitsundays.
