Santuary Cove Boat Show
Whitsundays Information booth

Sanctuary Cove Boat Show 4:00pm, Tue 17 May 2011

As usual, Cumberland Charter Yachts will be attending the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. Show dates are the 19th May to the 22nd, the weather forecast is ok and the boats are all lined up for this fabulous show. Our stand has moved slightly this year, located about 40 metres further along the “Promenade”, adjacent to the show information booth and Marinara Italian Restaurant.

On the stand this year is:
Charlie Preen: Director of Cumberland, he has been pressed into service after returning from cruising in the East. He is the best point of contact for investment enquiries. Charlie became a granddad for a second time just recently.

Deb Cooper
Quick as whip, Deb has a thousand jokes and every single one funny. Last year she had people in tears with a joke about young Johnnie finding some welding goggles. Having been in the Whitsundays for many years, Deb knows the ins-and-outs of the islands and all about the Cumberland fleet. You will usually find her behind the CCY front counter or answering the phone.

Marg Larsson
Resident to the Whitsundays for 3 years now, her and husband Steve came from the Bunbury, south of Perth, Western Australia. Marg is a boat owner with the Cumberland Charter Yachts fleet and passionate about bareboat product. Marg also works in the CCY reception – so you might have already talked to her on the phone.

John Nayler: Cumberland web designer for 13 years, we can't keep John away from the shows - he seems to enjoy himself more than the attendees. Before talking with him you can sample his tones in the dubious role of the Cumberland voice over guy. John has lived on his sailing cat amongst the Whitsunday islands for five years, so he knows about the anchorages and has let on some secret spots from time to time.

The sum of this is that the Cumberland Charter Yachts stand is chock a block full of knowledge about cruising the Whitsundays and the best way to do it with Cumberland Charter Yachts.
