A new Hanse 41 - "2 EASY" A common phrase in response to anything that needs doing or has been done. "My pleasure" It becomes contagious.
The Hanse 415, drawn by Judel/Vrolijk & Co, with an interior by Hanses Water Vision, is the latest entry in the builders lineup of sailboats that are, by design, both exciting and simple to sail.
Hanse yacht interiors are modern loft-style. The Hanse 415 interior feels modern, airy and spacious. Light floods through the large opening coach roof hatches and opening port holes and a lovely cross-breeze flow through your saloon and cabins at anchor or in the marina. There are even 6 hull windows so you can cook and relax with a Whitsunday sea view!
The nav station, to port, is a versatile piece of furniture. When raised, use it as a desk; however, it can also be dropped to create more sitting room or a good-size berth.
The fold-down transom serves as a swim and boarding platform and includes a handy locker for storing fenders . "2 Easy" suits her down to the waterline as everything is designed with ease in mind.
A new and first for hire in Whitsundays the Seawind 1160 lite one of the most noticeable differences on board is the new sleek interior design and fit out. The timber kit is replaced with lightweight and stylish timber look laminate surfaces, with a new contemporary neutral colour palette as specified by Seawind's interior stylist. The upholstery is modern, angular, yet practical with wearing sophisticated Sunbrella fabric.
The Seawind 1160 LITE also changes from the traditional diesel sail drives to lighter 25hp Yamaha outboard engines with electric tilt.
The layout remains largely unchanged, from the 1160's though the ensuite on the starboard forward cabin has been replaced with a walk in wardrobe and wet locker.
The galley is simplifed with an upright fridge/freezer and 3 burner stove, but still offering the same amount of storage with ring lockers, a handy shelf and plenty of cupboard space - far more in fact than in larger cats with galley up designs.
