Our bareboat fleet sustained minimal damage and our operations commenced on the 8 April. The team have been out and about checking out the top spots and you'll be pleased to know they are all still there!
QLD Parks and Wildlife - Marine park update. The "QPWS" team of rangers set to work on clean-up efforts at priority tourism areas such as Tongue Point, Hill Inlet lookout, Whitehaven Beach, Nara Inlet and Ngaro Cultural Site. These are all open as normal.
All Public Moorings - have been checked and are able to be used with the usual caution. About 90 public moorings are installed in the Whitsundays to help minimise anchor damage to fragile marine environments. * To report missing or damaged public moorings, contact QPWS by telephone 07 4047 9616
Reef protection markers - Some may be missing or moved, access bays with caution.
Hamilton Island is operational and the marina is available for briefing and overnight stays.
