"SERENDIPITY" - the accidental discovery of something pleasant...
Our Tasman Ocean 1035 is a beautiful 3 cabin catamaran with 2 Queen beds and 1 double plus a massive bathroom. One of the queen cabins has an en suite; which makes this a truly pleasant discovery!
The roomy saloon featuring large dining table, huge opening forward hatches providing excellent ventilation, great for catching a pleasant sea breeze while sharing a meal and the memories of the day in the large wrap around leather settee. While the galley up design means the cook is always part of the action.
The owners have made the interior welcoming and comfortable with personal touches bring a relaxed and homely feeling.
The covered cockpit and BBQ area is a great spot for sun downers and just taking in your sublime surroundings.
Easy sailing, with a self tacking jib and fully battened main, cars and lazy jacks and she presents an impressive figure under full sail. The Twin Yanmar 35 hp diesels make for very economical operating when the wind disappears.

Six of us on one of the bareboat sailing cats for six nights. Cumberland Charter Yachts staff was great and went out of their way to help us out. There were a few little issues with the charter boat (wind speed and direction not working) but nothing major. It was obvious the wind speed gear had been damaged by the cyclone coming through 2 months previously and they hadn't had time to get it (and other issues) all sorted out. Nothing that marred the trip but we had to make a couple of repairs and adjustments. Once we told them about the problems they seemed keen to get them sorted out. We might have been the first charterers of the boat since the storm. All in all, we had a great sail and commend Cumberland Charter Yachts staff for their help and professionalism. Thanks, all.Roger - TOOWONG, QLD, AUST
