Sunday - Graham from Cumberland Charter Yachts familiarises us with the boat   does a great job giving us the drill.

A short motor sail from Hamo & we anchor in Cid Harbour. Tiffany has prepared our food plan including the shopping list for the eight nights.  This document was a work of art and I think could be a best seller on the Whitsunday charter circuit.

Monday we wake & go for a swim & pass several boats including Michael Doohans boat My Way - obviously a bit of money in motor bike racing.

Next stop Nara Inlet.  This is a beautiful and mystical spot fully protected from the weather, lined by cliffs with hoop pines and a walk which includes Aboriginal paintings.

Tuesday we head out of Nara and pass dolphins and then further out spot whales.  We are head up past Stonehaven, into Blue Pearl Bay for a snorkel and lunch before sailing to Butterfly Bay.

Wednesday back to Airlie Beach.  Its nice to get into port, calm weather, proper shower and walk around on dry land for a bit.

Thursday breakfast and a walk around the streets at Airlie Beach then sail to Long Island. 3 hours sailing.  Once there we explore the island and have a fun night with live entertainment.

Friday sail around to Whitehaven beach. Serengeti up to 8 or 9 knots.  Now at Whitehaven we swim & walk the pristine beach. Onto Tongue Bay tonight.

Saturday we walk over the hill to Bettys Beach and then up to the lookouts this is without doubt a fantastic spot.  We sail onto Manta Ray Bay & do a snorkel.  Some low cliffs here provide for some rock diving.

Sunday the weather is good.  We head to Blue Pearl Bay for a morning snorkel. Could hear whales communicating whilst diving under water.  Then off towards Mocona Inlet our mooring for the last night.  A stop at a small bay around from the entrance to Mocona for lunch & then into Mocona Inlet for the night.

Monday sail back into Hamilton Island.  A fantastic trip on a great boat and great friends.
