Well adventure number 2 to the Whitsundays was as wonderful as expected. The weather  at times reminded us of home with the rain but soon reminded us that we are in QLD due to the heat and humidity.
The first night the weather kept us in the Marina, the next day we headed off into the wild blue younder and went to Marcona. The next day we travelled  up through the HOok passage and back to Stonehaven, one of our favourite destinations from our previous trip, the boys trawled around stonehaven and caught some nice fish.
The next morning we headed off to Butterfly Bay, we never got there 2 years ago so it was much anticipated place to go. We have never had our girls swimming or snorkelling in the ocean much so Butterfly Bay was our chance to try and teach them these things, and it was na amazing experience which we all loved, after that the girls would jump off the back of the boat and swim every chance they got.
From here we went around Pinnacle point and down to Tounge Bay, we walked the lookout and loved the view over Whitehaven, Caught some great fish in Tounge Bay.
We then went to another of our favourite spots in Cid Harbour. Dean captured a Spanish Mackeral here and Natalie a 84 cm Golden Trevally, ( her first one).
The next morning w headed for land, a night in Hamilton Island Marina and as it was AFL grandfinal and I had a family of Collingwood Supporters on board they sat in the Marina watching the Grandfinal whilst I went for a Hot Stone Massge, it was heaven and I am sure Hamilton Island Marina will never be the same after all those Victorians watching Footy.
From here we went to Whitehaven and more swimming and snorkelling, saw some amazing Turtles too.
Went to Apostle Bay and captured some more great fish, Then back over to Woodwark Bay and Double Bay for some amazing fishing, nice 89 cm Golden Trevally. The kids once again could not stay out of the water and loved all the fishing and swimming.
Cumberland Thak you for another amazing Holiday.
