Whitsunday Adventure 2010
We headed off for 10 nights on our third Whitsunday Adventure. Although we encountered unusual wet conditions this season for our charter we still had a fantastic time. No matter how many times you charter there is always somewhere new to explore. The luxury comfortable vessel 'Cumberland Princess' handled all conditions with ease.
We visited Nara & Marcona Inlets, Cid Harbour, Hamilton & Daydream Islands. New anchorages this time included Chalkies Beach across from Whitehaven has its own lovely secluded white sandy beach to explore. Stonehaven with overnight moorings & bommies, Gulnare Inlet was a great fishing spot if only the rains held off!! Homestead Bay off Cid Harbour was a lovely quiet anchorage. There is something magical about the Whitsundays that keeps drawing you back time & time again.
We wish to thank Sue & the Cumberland Crew for upgrading our vessel due to our chartered boat being unavailable and we have always found their customer service, knowledge, website and vessels 'terrific' thats why we keep using them and can't wait to do it again.
Three of our regular past charterers with Cumberland will be turning 60 next year and would love to celebrate with a cruise around the magical Whitsundays, hopefully with more favourable weather conditions!!!
