Finnigan

Chartered: 24 Aug 2010

The countdown had finaly reached zero, we kissed melbournes 10 degrees goodbye.
Airlie Beach had its best face forward and displayed a clear blue sky.
We knew what to expect as we have chartered 3 times before,
but every time we leave, were left longing for more.
Our selected vessel was Finnigan, it has heaps of room for five.
Very layed back as no sails, so no jive.
We snorkelled at blue pearl bay, only 2 meters from the shore,
a world of colorful coral and amazing fish galore.
We lunched at white haven with its magic white clean sand.
good food for all, with camera and champagne in hand.
We rested at Tongue bay and took the walk to the lookout,
the view from the top is breathtaking, find better I do doubt.
We collected fresh oysters as the tide was now low,
our bellys were full and it cost us no doe.
We saw whales in abundance, they dived and they played,
we watched them for hours they seemed happy and stayed.
We took refuge in Cid Harbour as the weather turned grey,
we fished whilst we waited for the sunrise of the new day.
We visited some resorts they are wonderful to see,
but its chartering a boat that truely makes you feel free.
We eyed our next vessel, its "charisma" all the way
we will see you all in 2011, I cant wait until that day.
