This was our second trip with Cumberland to the Whitsunday's, taking my husband, parents and uncle, we went to all the favourite spots, the weather wasn't great but as we normally sail in the North Sea this was no problem.
The most memorable moments involved husband falling out of the dingy in South Molle, we can laugh now but it was probably the final straw for the rotator cuff in his shoulder, gladly 6 weeks post should reconstruction is arm is almost back to normal.
We also slightly over catered for food and wine and I think uncle ate himself into a coma on more than one occasion - photo attached.
Husband and I will never forget waking up to find uncle stuffing a cushion into the crockery cupboard as the swell in Butterfly bay was causing some grief - grainy photo attached.
Finally coming from a family of competitive racers in from dingys to 60 footers it was clear we had to increase the sail area - see picture of stinger suit.
All in all it was another great trip of sea, sun and relaxation.
Thank you Cumberland and Olivetta.
