Firstly I must admit I was a little worried about spending 7 days in close range with two teenage daughters and a 8 year old son, and was very glad that the esky was stocked.
We arrived at Cumberland, Airlie Beach bright and chirpy the  morning were to start our Whitsunday adventure, we loaded the boat and eagerly awaited our induction, this I must say was very painless and we did actually learn alot from it.  We motored off to spend our first night at Cid Harbour and to catch up with family that were on the tail end of their holiday. We anchored for the night and had a absolute ball.
The next morning ,WOW, you wake up water lapping on the boat to the beautiful blue waters of the Whitsundays and the view is first class, someone pinch me.  From there it only got better, Stonehaven Bay - what a find, Blue Pearl Bay - was totally magic, Butterfly Bay - my favourite, so quiet and serene, Manta Ray Bay - great snorkelling, Chance Bay - the night we stayed here we were the only boat anchored, we had dinner on the beach as we had it all to ourselves, Chalkies Beach - nearly as good as Whitehaven, and of course Whitehaven beach - the worlds most beautiful beach, they were all on our doorstep for the taking.
We were all getting along brilliantly and there were NO kids fighting, let me tell you that is a complete turnaround from being at home.  It was wonderful, with no television or mobile phones or FACEBOOK we had our kids back and I cant begin to tell you how much fun we had.
My eldest daughter turned into quite the fisherman, much to her Dad's embarrassment and out fished us all.
We had the most wonderful holiday and can not wait to book again for this year, because at the end of the day we all work too hard and need rewards.
Thank you Cumberland, you are sensational.
