We four decided to spend a nice spring break on a beautiful enchanted holiday sailing through the Whitsundays (without anklebiters aged from 1 to 28).
So excited we couldn't sleep so we walked up to the marina at 3am to try and guess which yacht was ours.  We four had brekkie showered and headed straight back to the marina at daylight to wait for the briefing.  The girls went shopping the boys ordered the drinks and ready we were.
Our tutor was "Ralph" to show us the ropes (literally) and give us a run through the do's and dont's.  We sailed away all nervous and making sure our Skipper had all under control.  We dropped Ralph off at our first stop once he was happy with our sailing skills.
Our greatest adventure was a recommendation by Ralph to go to Cid Harbour and check out the trails.
So off we go the Skipper, Gilligan, Maryanne and Ginger decided after much persuasion and promises from the girls to take the trail walk.  Of course the boys declared war on the trail walk and suggested we take the short cut back along the rocks.   Ginger decides the rocks are too hard for her classy heels (pluggers) and takes a detour down the rocks along the shallow water.  Oho the water wasn't shallow as Ginger found out when she slipped off the rocks into the depths.  Bye bye camera, dry towel and heels.  Out Ginger crawls, cuts from oyster shells, rocks and continues on the uphill climb along the rocks. With blood oozing out from the various cuts which you could not identify as Ginger was covered in things the size of Terradactyls.  It wasn't March so they couldn't possibly be March flies.  We continued to climb, slide and jump over these damn rocks, about to give up and the Skipper appears around the corner in the tinnie.
This was definitely an adventure, well provided by Cumberland, luxury on water and wonderful service.  Clean and tidy, well equipped and any assistance at your fingertips.  Thank you all.
