Cumberland like to ensure that you maximise your holiday time.
Your vessel is available for loading at Abel Point Marina from
8.30am. Our briefings are conducted at 9 am or 12 noon. We recommend
that you try to organise your trip so that you are prepared
by 8.30 am.
If you won't be ready by 8.30 then let us know and we'll adjust
your briefing time to suit.
For Hamilton Island departures - the vessel will be there no
earlier than 11am. If you are flying in later than that your
briefing will be adjusted accordingly.
After briefings (usually 3 hours) you will be ready to cruise
to your preferred overnight anchorage.
If you intend travelling by car - again we recommend being available
by 8.30 o'clock on your first day of charter.

* Hamilton Island is serviced by Virgin Blue and Jetstar Airlines.

option for transferring to and from Whitsunday Coast / Proserpine

Bus Service
A bus runs to meet all flights arriving. Transfer costs are
$15.40 per person with Whitsunday Transit one way. Book direct

Taxi
Taxi cabs are available which can hold upto 10 people. A maxi
cab is $85 and a car is $65 to Abel Point Marina. Cabs can be
booked in advance on 07-49-465315 or complete the form at Whitsunday

Shuttle
A shuttle bus can pickup your crew (and yourself!) and take
you to your destination. Cost is from $14.50 per person. All

Hamilton Island
Cumberland can deliver your vessel to Hamilton for $200 each
way. The vessel is available from 11am.

Alternatively if you are arriving or departing that day you
can travel through to Abel Point Marina for $49 each way per
adult. If you'd like to do this just email us with your flight
details and requirements and we'll get it booked.
Alternatively you can transfer to Shute Harbour from Hamilton
Island Airport for $60 per adult ($30 for 4-14 year olds)
and then cab/bus/limousine to Airlie Beach (about 15kms and
$28). All transfers and luggage are looked after. For all

Besides the convenience of picking up your vessel at Hamilton
Island if you are flying there it is also economical if you
have three or more in your group.
Mackay Airport

Greyhound coaches have started connections from Mackay Airport
to Airlie Beach. Check www.greyhound.com.au

A private shuttle bus can be organised to pickup your
group and transport you to Airlie Beach. Price is $42.50 per
adult one way and $85.00 return. $21.25 for a child (4-14

Car parking is very easy at Cumberland's
base at Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach. There are 2 asphalt
car parks available.
Security parking (under cover, under lock with valet service)
is also available.

- cost is $82.50 for 5 nights. $95.00 for 6-7 nights. $12.50
each additional night after that. Rates include pickup and
return to Abel Point Marina of either car or the driver. If

from the marina) a reduction of $20 is available.
