Our office is located at the Northern end of Abell Point Marina, Shop 18 (above Ocean Rafting, next door to Sorrento’s.) Check in, meet our friendly resdevations staff and your briefer, he will assist you to load all your luggage and provisions into a trolley and take you to your vessel, where he will commence the briefing.
Cumberland like to ensure that you maximise your holiday time. Your vessel is available for loading at Abell Point Marina from 8.30am. Our briefings are conducted from 8:30am. We recommend that you try to organise your trip so that you are well prepared to start loading and your briefing at 8.30 am. If you won't be ready by 8.30 then let us know and we'll adjust your briefing time to suit.
For Hamilton Island departures briefings take place on board your vessel between 11am - 12noon the vessel and briefer will be there no earlier than 11am. If you are arriving later than noon we will not be able to provide vessel briefing, (Briefings are mandatory and may take 3 - 4 hours). If you are chartering from Hamilton island we recommend using our provisioning service. Use this link for more information on Catering as there are limited shops and supermarkets.
After briefings (usually 3 - 4 hours) you will be ready to cruise to your preferred overnight anchorage.

Hamilton Island - Port of Airlie (Airlie Beach) approximately 55 - 120 minutes - ferry ride to the center of Airlie Beach.
Ferry services operated by Cruise Whitsundays meet every flight at Hamilton Island. You will arrive at Port Of Airlie Maritime Terminal in the heart of Airlie Beach. Ferry services may depart 1 hour after your flight arrives. (Transfer times are dependent on the number of island stops the ferry is required to make.)
Alternatively Cumberland can deliver your vessel to Hamilton Island where we can start your charter, saving you valuable holiday time. The fee is $415 delivery and $415 to return the vessel to Hamilton. The vessel is available to start your briefing from 11am - 12noon and must be returned by 10am on the last day of charter. ( Hamilton island have a resort link shuttle bus which meets every flight offering a service from the airport to the marina. )
If you are planning to start your charter at Hamilton island we recommend using our provisioning service as there are limited facilities on the island
Helicopter transfers are available from Hamilton direct to Abell Point Marina.

Besides the convenience of picking up your vessel at Hamilton Island if you are flying there it is also more economical if you have three or more in your group. Hamilton Island Airport is a small island airport, with facilities such as, resort shop, Bar and coffee shop.
Mackay Airport - Abell Point Marina approximately 1 hour 55 minutes drive to Airlie Beach.
Whitsundays 2 everywhere offer an airport service which needs to be booked in advance. Minimum 3 passengers. (Rates available on application ) Alternatively you can hire a car and drop off in Airlie Beach - (recommended you book ahead)

Council parking is available from $8 for each 24 hour period, within easy walk to Cumberland's Base at Abell Point Marina.
Undercover Secure parking, with valet service is also available. Rates are $140.00 for 7 nights (approximately $24.00 per night)
