Testimonial

We had 11 nights on the Mango Tango at the end of August. Mango Tango was huge for 2 couples. I had been hoping to get Skedaddle or Serendipity but by the time we booked, Mango Tango was our next best bet for availability on our dates. Researching your boats preferences and nailing down your leave dates so you can book as early as possible is definitely the way to go! Although we ended up with more boat than we may have needed, it was just brilliant to have it too. Along with the extra human space was an excellent freezer, fridge and beer fridge space which we put to good use. We self-catered for the 11 nights, buying almost everything in Airlie Beach before we left on our charter. We arrived the day before our charter and were able to take up the Sleep Aboard option for the night before our departure. Provisioning: although I would have loved to take up the provisioning option and have all the work taken out of it for us for 11 nights at the standard we would prefer to eat it was more cost effective to do it ourselves. Luckily I had the time to put into the meal planning (and online shopping) in order to cater to everyone's tastes. (Meat and eggs [genuinely free-range, sourced locally] from Master Butchers Whitsundays ordered in advance, Coles Canonvale online order for the rest of food, and there's a bottle-o in the same shopping centre as Coles). Although we grabbed a few more things from Hamo on day 5 or 6 (bread, milk, teabags, and booze) Mango Tango easily fitted our provisioning for the entire trip - and I'd argue we probably ate enough for 6 people throughout! This was our second charter with Cumberland Charter Yachts and the team is wonderful to deal with. From answering all of my questions in the lead-up to our charter to the warm welcome and informative briefing we received on arrival, to storing our bags for a few hours before our departure - fantastic service. and we would happily book again through them.
