Testimonial

When my husband first suggested a bare boat charter in the Whitsundays, I must admit I was hesitant. I had done a fair amount of day sailing in southern California, but had never done a bareboat charter myself before (my husband had many times). There were so many things I didn’t know-how to read a chart, how to pick up a mooring etc. I am SO glad I let him talk me into this adventure! The Whitsundays are beautiful-we saw turtles, whales, lots of fish while snorkeling, beautiful corals, had wonderful day hikes in the bush and arranged a trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. We did some remote anchorages and also moored at beautiful resorts. And I actually learned some new things along the way. Have I mentioned that it was all beautiful? The folks at Cumberland Charter Yachts are great and everything was just as it should be-professional and friendly. And when we ran into snags (like losing our boat hook-our fault), there were “no worries” and they arranged to get another to us. I would highly recommend Cumberland to anyone! Thanks so much for a great vacation (holiday). I hope to see you all again soon! Susan Merrill from Southern California Lazyitis
