The terms below outline the conditions of hire for your Cumberland Charter Yachts bareboat charter. All rates are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Fleet/vessel details, conditions and prices were correct at time of publishing and may be subject to change without notice.
$1,000 deposit returned in full.
Refund of deposit minus $250 admin fee.
Full $1,000 deposit is forfeited.
Unless a substitute booking is obtained on the same vessel for the same period.
If a substitute booking is found inside 90 days, the original payment will be refunded less $1,000. All cancellations must be received in writing. A cancellation is the "Charterer", as defined by the Reference Schedule, making the Charter Contract void — including date or vessel changes.
A non-refundable damage waiver of $60 per night (capped at $600) is charged to cover loss of the vessel's inventory or minor damage to the vessel — excluding groundings or outstanding running expenses.
A $3,000 Grounding and/or Security Bond is pre-authorised on a valid nominated card at check-in on the day of departure.
Upon return of the vessel, a contracted diver will inspect the hull. If the diver's report confirms no hull damage and all running expenses have been paid, the bond will be released within 5–7 days after your charter.
If the vessel is reported or found to have run aground during your charter, or any running expenses remain outstanding, the bond will be processed (in full or in part) to cover the associated costs.
An Environmental Management Charge (EMC) applies to each visitor entering the marine park. The total fee is $40 per person including the environmental management charge — payable prior to entering the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
A flat $35 is payable for the outboard fuel for the tender and LPG for the BBQ and stove.
Fuel used on your charter is to be paid for on completion.
We highly recommend you take out adequate travel insurance cover to protect you if you need to cancel after the fees have become non-refundable, or for disruptions to your holiday — such as cyclones.
