Testimonial

Dreaming about The Whitsundays was always just that “a dream” until Sally Greg Jim & Cheryl made our dream come true when they invited us to join them on the “Cumberland Princess” for a holiday. Sal & Greg are veterans at this they have cruised around The Whitsundays 6 times with thanks to CCY. This was Jim & Cheryl’s 2nd time but for me & Earle it was our 1st our virgin adventure. Our flight to Hamilton Island was good, the ferry to Airlie was great but our 7 days on the Cumberland Princess was just awesome. Well the boys did their induction while the girls got supplies. We motored out about midday for our week of pure pleasure.1Nara Inlet was our first stop where we swam, relaxed, eat, drink & be merry. 2Heading over to Betty’s Beach (Sally’s Beach) we saw dolphins amazing site we also had to retrieve a few hats along the way! At the beach we had munchies, played Bocce and had a swim. Then off to Tongue Bay where we saw Turtles. Anchored here for the night to relax, eat, drink & be merry. 3We went ashore to do the walking trek, spectacular views. Next stop was Cateran Bay for my 1st ever snorkelling experience, just fantastic. Then off to Butterfly Bay where we relaxed, eat, drink & be merry. 4Woke up to some beautiful Batfish then after another snorkel we went to Blue Pearl Bay, yep more snorkelling. Off to Stonehaven for some swimming fishing relaxing eat drink & be merry. 5Back to Airlie for supplies etc (and some quick shopping for the girls) we then went to Cid Harbour and enjoyed more swimming fishing relaxing eat drink & be merry. 6Rain today, went for a fish at Mays Bay then back to Cid Harbour for more relaxing, eat, drink & be merry. 7 Manta Ray Bay for more snorkelling, simply breathtaking, luv it here. Then to Stonehaven where the fish were going crazy and for our last night we relaxed eat drink & be merry. Time to bid our Princess a final farewell with a tear in our eyes but I did tell her “we’ll be back” Kerri Hosking
