Testimonial

Cumberland, Cumberland this is Psycho Puss, Psycho Puss, reporting in for our sailing adventure of a lifetime. We can’t believe that the sea can provide us so much fun and pleasure. We’re from the river down in South Australia 250km for any sea. My husband Stu has always had a dream that he would like to sail the Whitsunday’s. He had told his brother in-law some twenty years ago that he would love to sail. Well…together we have now achieved that dream. They charted ‘Destiny’ a Seawind 1160 and we had ‘Psycho Puss’ a lightwave 38. Together we sailed around the Whitsunday islands for seven nights. It was the best thing we have ever done, and it definitely won’t be the last. The experiences were enormous. Stu got to sail, a dream come true and enjoyed ever moment of it, while the boys hoist the sails Stu navigated the lightwave into the wind and then attacking and jiving we made our way along the coast. It was exciting, peaceful and enjoyable. Terry our sail guide, taught the boys (3 of them) how to sail, they also snorkelled, crabbed, swam with turtles and played soccer on the beaches. Me, I got to snorkel, this may not seem unusual to some, but I have never put my head under water (never in the sea before) well I did it! Yeah, it’s the best thing seeing the beautiful, brilliant colours of the tiny fish. I tell everone how wonderful it is. I felt nervus and excited at the same time, a crazy feeling. The boat was well appointed it had every thing we needed. The boys got around in the little tender ‘Mad Kitty’. The Islands had the most beautiful scenery, big white beaches to walk and play on. At Butterfly Bay we saw the most magnificent butterflies with brilliant colours. This was the best snorkelling area for the week. Whitehaven, it is just a gorgeous place to anchor. We would like to thank the helpful and lovely staff at CCY for letting us achieve this dream. Lets hope that we see you all again. Over and Out ‘The Worsfolds’
