The roadmap to easing Queensland's restrictions has been updated to reflect Stage Six which commenced on the 14th December, 2020.

QLD's COVID Safe Future Roadmap

Stay up to date with QLD's COVID border restrictions

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Our current policy is

**Applies to the person who's name the charter is booked under. Does not apply to crew.**

If you are restricted to travel to Queensland due to a government enforced directive, firstly we suggest you contact your travel insurance company or credit card provider for advice on any cancellation refund available to you for your booking.

If you are unable to access travel insurance, Cumberland Charter Yachts would like to offer you the following:

  • Request your booking to be open dated (CCY retain any money paid). The boat will be released back in to the letting pool and you can re-book at a later date (subject to vessel availability)
  • Reschedule your booking to a future date in 2021/2022
  • There is no fee for changing bookings
  • If the new booking is more expensive, the difference in charter fees are payable
  • If the new booking is less expensive, no refund is applicable, although you can extend the charter length up to the value of any money already paid as charter fees

  • If you cancel altogether, our standard cancellation terms and conditions apply:

If a booking is cancelled 90 days outside of commencement a $250 admin fee would apply. If you cancel your charter between 89-61 days prior to charter then the full deposit of $1000 will be forfeited. If your charter is cancelled inside 60 days prior to your charter commencing, no refund will be given unless a substitute booking is obtained on that vessel over that same period. In the case of a substitute booking being found, the payment will be refunded less $1000. All cancellations must be received in writing.
