COVID-19 Booking and Cancellation Policy
VALID FOR CHARTERS COMMENCING UP UNTIL THE 16TH DECEMBER, 2021 (subject to the Queensland governments projected timeframes of fully vaccinated targets)
**Applies to the person who's name the charter is booked under. Does not apply to crew**
If you are restricted to travel to Queensland due to a government enforced directive (excluding self-quarantine), firstly we suggest you contact your travel insurance company or credit card provider for advice on any refund available to you.
If you are unable to access a refund from your travel insurance, Cumberland Charter Yachts (CCY) would like to offer the following:
Request in writing for your booking to be deferred (CCY retain all money paid).
Reschedule your charter to a future date in 2021/2022 (subject to the vessels availability) OR request an open dated ticket and re-book your charter at a later time
Credit can be used on any vessel
There is no fee for deferring charters
If the new booking is more expensive, the difference in charter fees are payable
If the new booking is less expensive, no refund is applicable, although you can extend the charter length up to the value of any money already paid as charter fees or used towards additional fees
Cancellations on credit charters will forfeit all charter fees paid
If you cancel a charter (excluding credit charters), our standard cancellation terms and conditions apply:
If a booking is cancelled 90 days outside of commencement a $250 admin fee would apply.
If you cancel your charter between 89-61 days prior to charter then the full deposit of $1000 will be forfeited.
If your charter is cancelled inside 60 days prior to your charter commencing, no refund will be given unless a substitute booking is obtained on that vessel over that same period. In the case of a substitute booking being found, the payment will be refunded less $1000.
All cancellations must be received in writing.
