Cumberland Charter Yachts are 'Good to Go' 2:21pm, Tue 16 Jun 2020

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) have launched a new domestic campaign encouraging Queenslanders to holiday at home and to get outside again, immerse themselves in our natural wonders and reconnect with friends and family in our own backyard. Once borders are open, the campaign will extend to drive interstate travel again with the aim of converting Australian's who had planned an overseas holiday.

The campaigns core message is that Queensland's tourism industry is open, ready to welcome visitors and our industry is following COVID Safe practices.

Cumberland Charter Yachts have been busy working with our guests who had charters booked but unable to take them, looking at alternative dates and providing 100% credit for a future booking. We have also been inundated with people booking new charters, ready to escape confinement.

We have always maintained the cleaning of our vessels between charters to the highest of standards and have now also adopted the COVID Cleaning Practice Procedures outlined by the Australian Government Department of Health.

We have also adapted our interactions with our guests via the following ways:

  • Social safe distancing during briefs on the morning of departure including the wearing of gloves
  • Contact less payment for balance of charter fees
  • Disinfecting handles on luggage trolleys
  • Hand sanitizer and soap provided on board each vessel
  • Encourage all guests to download the Covid Safe app in case contact tracing is necessary

  • We are 'Good to Go' and look forward to speaking to you soon and getting you back out on the water.

Cumberland Charter Yachts is an award-winning company providing exceptional holiday experiences, leaving customers with a lifetime of memories that exceed all expectations.
