We’re welcoming two impressive power catamarans to the CCY fleet: a brand-new Aquila 50 power catamaran and a Leopard 46 power catamaran, Rufus.
Both vessels are available to book now, with Rufus joining the fleet from 1 September 2026 and the Aquila 50 available for charters from 1 July 2027.
Even better? Both vessels are available as skipper-yourself bareboat charters in the Whitsundays, with no boat licence required. Before you depart, our team provides a full vessel and charter area brief, so you feel prepared and confident before heading out into the beautiful waters of the Whitsundays.

Meet the Aquila 50 Power Catamaran
The arrival of the Aquila 50 is a very special milestone — not just for Cumberland Charter Yachts, but for bareboating in Australia.
This vessel will be the first and only Aquila 50 available for charter in Australia, bringing a new level of space, comfort and modern power catamaran design to the Whitsundays.
Designed for relaxed cruising and easy entertaining, the Aquila 50 offers the kind of layout that makes a bareboat holiday feel effortless. With generous indoor and outdoor spaces, large open entertaining areas on the flybridge and aft deck, and all the modern conveniences you would expect from a premium 2027 power catamaran, this vessel is made for families and groups who want room to spread out, unwind and enjoy the journey.

Introducing Rufus, Our Leopard 46 Power Catamaran
Joining the fleet sooner is "Rufus", a Leopard 46 power catamaran available for charters from 1 September 2026.
Rufus is a beautiful addition to our growing range of larger power catamarans and perfectly complements the 44ft+ power cats already available in the CCY fleet.
Sleeping up to 8 guests, Rufus is a fantastic choice for families, couples travelling together, or smaller groups who want the space and ease of a power catamaran without stepping into the largest end of the fleet.
Like the Aquila 50, Rufus offers generous entertaining areas across the flybridge and aft deck, giving guests plenty of room to relax, dine, socialise and take in the views. With modern finishes and thoughtful design, this 2026 Leopard power cat brings comfort, convenience and easy cruising together beautifully.

Before you leave the marina, our team will take you through a full vessel briefing and charter area briefing. We’ll make sure you understand the boat, the equipment, the navigation area and the daily procedures before you depart.
You’re also supported throughout your charter, so while you’re skippering the vessel yourself, you’re never completely on your own.
