This years New Years Eve event has an obligation to be better than any other New Years Eve Event in history and the team at Whitsunday Sailing Club are going to ensure that happens.
With Busby Marou headlining the night supported by the incredibly talented Brooke Schubert with fireworks and celebrations a plenty this is going to be a night to reflect on one of the most difficult years we've all had.

The Airlie Beach Marathon Festival is held annually in one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world. It is the Whitsunday’s premier running event and the largest onshore mass participation event in the region.
It caters for athletes of all ages (0-100) and different levels of fitness. The event has runs of varying distances from a one kilometre family fun run through to a full marathon. All these runs are off road along boardwalks and footpaths giving the participants breathtaking views over the ocean out to the famous Whitsunday islands.
All events use the same course, providing spectators and supporters the opportunity of seeing their athlete on more than one occasion.

Great Barrier Reef Festival is an annual celebration of the Great Barrier Reef and showcase of the Whitsunday lifestyle and community in the "heart of the reef" – Airlie Beach.
The region's favourite festival will celebrate 21 years in 2021 and will take over the vibrant tourist hub of Airlie Beach. The 4-day event is a delicious combination of family fun, reef focused environmental and art initiatives, destination events, local food and culture and some of the biggest parties in the tropical north.
The 2021 festival will feature a fun-filled program of events including the Coral Sea Marina Resort Lantern Parade, Great Barrier Reef interactive workshops and installations, a Comedy Gala, massive reef-themed street parade, main streetcar show, a wearable art parade and Recyclable Regatta and free family fun activities on Airlie Foreshore.
The not-to-be-missed Fireworks on the Foreshore event will ignite the skies on Friday Aug 6, the biggest night on the Whitsunday calendar, complete with night markets, food stalls, carnival rides and street performers and the popular Pop-up Beach Bar.
The Beach Music stage will be pumping out live entertainment throughout the weekend with a fantastic line-up of artists soon to be announced.

Every August, spectators and yachties from around the globe sail to Hamilton Island for Hamilton Island Race Week - Australia's largest offshore keelboat regatta.

It is a Trail Run along the scenic Conway Ranges in the Whitsundays with categories for all comers of all ages - WTF58, WTF28, Honeyeater 10.5, Beat The Creek and Kids Beach Bash. The race precinct is on the beautiful Airlie Beach Foreshore starting and finishing at the Sound Stage adjacent to the Pacific Ocean.
