Two airports serve the Whitsundays — Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine) and Hamilton Island Airport.
Most guests fly into Proserpine, 30 minutes from Airlie Beach. Shuttle buses meet all flights and can drop you at Coral Sea Marina.
Hamilton Island has its own airport with ferry connections to Airlie Beach via Cruise Whitsundays.
Follow the Bruce Highway and turn off at Proserpine onto Shute Harbour Road. Airlie Beach is 30 minutes from the turnoff.

Greyhound and Premier Bus both service the route between Cairns and Brisbane, with a stop in Airlie Beach.
Queensland Rail connects Proserpine station to all major cities from Cairns to Brisbane.
Bus services meet each arriving train for the 30-minute run into Airlie Beach. A short taxi or rideshare from Airlie Beach gets you to Coral Sea Marina.
Shuttle buses meet all flights at Whitsunday Coast Airport and can drop you directly at Coral Sea Marina or your accommodation. Book through your Charter Centre.
Ample parking is available at Coral Sea Marina while you're on charter.
