Cumberland Charter Yachts was founded in 1981 and has long been recognised as a leader in bareboat charters in the Whitsundays. We were among the first to introduce catamarans for charter in the early 1990s, helping shape the way people experience this remarkable cruising ground.

Based at Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, our Australian-owned and operated business combines decades of boating, tourism and customer service experience with genuine local knowledge.

Everything you need before you arrive

We know the boat is only the beginning of your holiday. Guests have access to a private Charter Centre where they can add crew details, make payments, order extras such as kayaks and personalise their trip before arrival.

Cumberland Charter Yachts offers 8:30am briefings as standard, helping you get underway sooner and make the most of your first day on charter.

All of our vessels are welcome at resorts throughout the Whitsundays, and guests can choose from more than 40 overnight anchorages and 160 moorings across the region. Combined with our location at Coral Sea Marina in the heart of Airlie Beach, this gives you the flexibility to build a holiday that suits your pace and priorities.
